Turkeys--Books That Shay Absolutely Hated

Ugh! These are all real turkeys. Some are by authors who have written other books that I love--Tyler, King, Mitchard. Some got BIG hype but sucked--"Mexican Gothic." Some are so badly written it was painful--"A Wartime Love." Some are just made-up baloney, like the new age entries here. "Cowgirls" got thrown against the wall. Some repeat the same phrase so often that it grates--"The House Next Door". Some are just so sappy--"A Walk To Remember." Some are torpid and ridiculous--"Insomnia". "A Dirty Job" is sophomoric frat boy trash. And then there is the official Worst Book Of All Time, "Mother." Serve stuffing and cranberry sauce with these!
