It seems that each year (even during quarantine) new movies break box-office records. But these are the REAL records -- the films with made the most money when adjusted for inflation.
Take a look at the number of pre-1990 films -- 88 of them!
Or the number of pre-1970 films -- 42 of them!
Or the number of pre-1950 films -- 10 of them, including the 1921 release of "The Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse".
These, my friends, are the REAL classics -- the ones with staying power over a period of many decades.
