This is a list of the 50 highest ranking films from 1950 on the 2021 edition of the TSPDT Greatest Films list. "Rashomon" is ranked #21. The 50th film on the list from 1950 - "The Beauty of the Devil" - is ranked at #6748. The the second film on this list is "Sunset Blvd." "Sunset Blvd." is ranked #33 overall on the TSPDT list. "Sunset Blvd." is the subject of the Sept. 2021 meeting of The Saturday Film Discussion Group. We are a monthly film discussion group that was formed in SW Ohio in 2018. It works like a book club. You watch the film on your own time. We then meet monthly to discuss the one or two pre-determined titles. We switched our meetings to Zoom this past year, and thus can now accept members from just about anywhere.
