Top 50 Books Read by D

One of my goals for this year is to have a higher average rating on Goodreads/Storygraph, and this list just proved to me that I was right in setting that goal as I really struggled to come up with these 50 'top' books. I was originally going to do 100 books, but quickly realised that wouldn't work. So no, these aren't all what I'd call favourite books at this time, but many of them are. A few are less 'favourites' and more books that stuck with me and I did enjoy reading. All of the children's books included are ones I've read within the past 3 or 4 years since I started reading again - as are all the other books with the exception of The Color Purple and Life of Pi, which I read in school about 5 years ago.
The first 12 or so books are the books I describe as my actual favourites - if someone were to ask me for my favourite reads, they would come from that list. And for anyone wondering, The Grapes of Wrath is my all time favourite at the time of making this list.
