Top 25 Domestic Grossing Movies Released Prior to 1/1/2001

Let's consider it a given (for the sake of argument) that the inflation of ticket prices over the last 20 years has skewed the relationship between a film's popularity and the box office sales.
Here is a list of the top 25 grossing films released prior to 1/1/2001. Nine were released prior to 1985!
Note that four of these films still rank among the top twenty, even with inflation.
Note too, that all these films still rank in the top 170 despite their age.
