Tony Hillerman Novels

Tony Hillerman first came to my attention in the late 1980s and they were good mysteries that gave me good insight into a culture that I knew nothing about. It certainly gave me an appreciation for the Native American culture. I read them all and would say that the earlier books are the best, but they're all enjoyable. Tony's daughter Anne has continued the series, but I'm too leery to try those.
