Tom Swift, Jr. Books

The Tom Swift, Jr. series ran from 1954 to 1971. The books were written under the pseudonym "Victor Appleton II", as a sequel to the original series which ran from 1910 to 1941. The books feature the son of the original "Tom Swift" and trace his scientific adventures. While not as ubiquitous as "The Hardy Boys" or "Nancy Drew", this was a popular juvenile series. The final six volumes in the series (numbers 28-33) increase in rarity (and value) rather dramatically.
