The Wonderful World of Places Inspiring Disney Parks - Page 2

A super summary of most of my lists which highlighted locations that inspired design aesthetics at Disney theme parks around the world.
Magical Fact: 65 years ago on this day 17 July 1955, Disneyland opened to the public. A unique hub and spoke design, the park's plan enabled a blueprint for live variety entertainment within a compact space. Until then, most theme parks were glorified county fairs, exceptions having been Knott's Berry Farm in Buena Vista, California and Tivoli Gardens in Copenhagen.
