The Top 50 Songs of Elvis Presley - Page 2

What can be said about The King that hasn't already been said? Well, since this is a list based on his performance on the Billboard Hot 100 chart (and its predecessors), how about some of Elvis's chart accomplishments: 149 charting hit songs, a record only recently surpassed by the Glee Cast (207); 114 top 40 hits, a record that still stands today; 80 total weeks at #1, another record; and 18 #1 songs, tied with Mariah Carey and second only to The Beatles (with 20 #1's). This list comes from the book Billboard's Hottest Hot 100 hits by Fred Bronson (4th Edition, 2007).
