The Retired English Teacher Reflects: Literary Science Fiction - Page 2

Our retired English Teacher spent a large part of his career arguing the literary merits of category AKA genre fiction. Here is a non-comprehensive list of 90 examples which clearly elevate Science Fiction to high literary art; so much so that many are shelved in the "Fiction and Literature " sections of bookstores rather than in "Science Fiction and Fantasy". Apparently we still live in a literary world where prevailing wisdom says, "It's too good; it CAN'T be Science Fiction."
