The Quintessential High School TV Shows From 1970-2000

Throughout the 1970s, '80s, and beyond, some of the biggest shows on the airwaves centered around high school or school-aged kids. Because there are so many of these kinds of shows, it's interesting to see which high school TV show stood above the competition the year they are released. Not all the action happened at the school, social and family life was often a big part of the story.
