BBC2 - The Old Grey Whistle Test Series 2

The Old Grey Whistle Test (usually abbreviated to Whistle Test or OGWT) is a British television music show.
According to presenter Bob Harris, the programme derived its name from a Tin Pan Alley phrase from years before. When they got the first pressing of a record they would play it to people they called the old greys – doormen in grey suits. Any song they could remember and whistle, having heard it just once or twice, had passed the old grey whistle test.
Audionut:- Primarily the OGWT was a live show, supported with films, short film and Promo Clips, to reflect this, if the act has been on the show in any format then an album has been added that matches the tracks performed on the OGWT, if the track(s) are not known then the nearest album to that year has been selected.
