The New 7 Wonders of the World

We can no longer visit the Colossus of Rhodes, or the Temple of Artemis at Ephesus. The New 7 Wonders was a campaign started in 2000 to select a new set of world wonders from 200 possible sites. The Great Pyramids of Giza were given honorary status as the only surviving of the original Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. NOTE: Because the list must have 10 items, I've included 2 other finalists: The Acropolis (447 B.C.) and Angkor Wat (1113).
