"John Kobal Presents the Top 100 Movies" was a well-regarded book published in 1988, where John Kobal canvassed over 80 film critics for their favourite films. However, some reviews have pointed out that he didn't do the maths properly when working out the final 100, as all the individual lists are published in the back and don't quite add up. In particular, three movies - Earth, The Far Country and A Matter of Life and Death - shouldn't have made the final 100.
I've carefully added the lists together and presented here the films which SHOULD have been in the book, but weren't - the first five as definite entries, the remainder as ones which were all tied with the 100th spot.
