Apollo 8 was the first of the Apollo missions to actually fly to the Moon. Apollo 10 flew to the Moon and successfully tested the Lunar Module but did not touch down. Apollo 11 was the first actual Moon landing. Apollo 12, 14, 15, 16, and 17 also landed on the Moon. Apollo 13 suffered an explosion en route, but was successfully able to return to Earth.
Three astronauts flew to the Moon twice: Jim Lovell, John Young, and Eugene Cernan. Of these three, only Lovell never set foot on the Moon.
