The Complete Works of Lousia May Alcott

Louisa May Alcott began writing when she was very young and she began to receive critical success in the 1860s for her writing. Even though many people don't know it, she has also published a number of poems, thrillers, short stories and a number of juvenile tales through her career, with the pseudonyn Flora Fairfield. In 1862, she adopted another pen name, A.M. Barnard and only began to use her real name when she was ready to commit her life to writing. Moreover, she was an abolitionist and a feminish and remained unmariied throughout her life. In 1860 she starter writing for the 'Atlantic Monthly'. In her life she even was a nurse for six weeks for the American Civl War at Georgetown DC in the Union Hospital.
