This week the Byrd Theatre's curated film list comes from Teddy Leinbach, a local RVA filmmaker. To the casual observer, sports exist within defined boundaries over a designated period of time. They are a competitive gathering of fans, players, and coaches, co-existing in a world determined by rules, regulations, and score. At the end, there is a group victorious and a group in defeat.
