The Bibliophile's 200 Favourite Novels - Page 4

This is the second in a series of lists about my favourite novels. I began at 250, and now I've narrowed it down to 200. It was difficult, so the future lists will be even harder. What I consider my favourite books are not what I necessarily consider the best books, nor do they automatically come from my list of 1001 Books To Read Before You Die. Rather, I consider a favourite book what it sounds to be - a book that I have enjoyed reading more than the average book I read; where dismay sets in at the amount of the book that's been read after just one or two days, and where the book is shut for the final time with a satisfied but bittersweet feeling. Enjoy.
