The Best Indie Films I've Seen

I think the definition of what an Indie film is, is often misconstrued. And indie film is simply an independently funded film made outside of major Hollywood studios, and are typically (but not always) produced by independent entertainment companies. So yes a lot of these films are cult classics that receive tons of critical acclaim and have been very influential in the film community. However that does not take away from the fact that they're indie films, and they're surely the best I've seen.
