The 2010s in particular saw a huge tide change when it came to Western attitudes about anime; access to new shows was never easier because of the streaming boom, and the kids who spent afternoons or sneaky late nights watching dubbed anime on Toonami or Adult Swim grew up into adults who never stopped loving anime.
