Arguments were had, fights were lost, time-travel devices were used, and a few lightsabres clashed, but the teams at GamesRadar+, Total Film, and SFX managed to come up with this decade-spanning list that ranks the very best of the beloved genre. Everything from animated classics to surprising sequels made the final cut, while some beloved sci-fi movies from generations past (sorry, Metropolis) just missed out.
Not a bad list but so many films left out (Bride of Frankenstein, Solaris, Her, Invasion of the Body Snatchers, etc).
