The 20th Century in 200 Books - Page 3

An attempt of mine to measure literary/cultural impact of 20th century works through a combination of average rating and number of ratings, as determined by information provided by my Goodreads' library. One book per author (might've fudged that), roughly ordered by decade, each decade getting twenty works a piece (so, list items 1-20 published 1900-1909, 21-40 published 1910-1919, etc (hopefully)). Some of these works I heartily dislike, others definitely veer more towards the cultural impact than the literary, and the whole endeavor is horrendously biased in many a way, but the idea was to let the numbers do (most of) the talking, and talk they certainly did.
