The 10 Books on Marissa's Shelves She Would Save

Creating this list was an interesting and heart-breaking exercise. I have a very strong love for and attachment to books; the stories they contain, as well as what makes up their physical entity. Certain books on my shelves have been part of my own story at the most significant moments. They may not be my favourite books if I were to consider their content alone, but what they represent is far more precious to me. They are irreplaceable.
The last three books I selected because they are the ones I have reread the most (in addition to LOTR), and would turn to first as comfort reads.
If I was forced to choose only 10 books to save (for whatever reason), and I was limited to only the exact physical copies on my shelves, these are ones I would take.
