Teen and Young Adult Books Set in the 20th Century, Part 1 - Page 8

I put this list together based on several Goodreads lists with YA books set in particular decades; the first part of the list is books set in the 1900s, 1910s, 1920s, 1930s, and 1940s. Some are historical fiction, and some were written during those years. I wasn't strict about whether a book can truly be considered YA/teen literature, but most, if not all, of these books have some teen characters and should appeal to younger audiences. Part 2 will be the second half of the 20th century.
