I'm not sure if people enjoy reading or avoid reading Stephen King's books in these weird times. Especially as the conspiracy theories mount up. Any way, I've compiled a list of all of Stephen King's major works with, IMHO, some of the most 'atmospheric' (macabre, sinister etc) covers.
Personally, the scariest cover is that of 'Danse Macabre', showing a young Stephen King with full beard. Does he discuss his own 1970s appearance in the "What's Scary" essay mentioned on that cover?
First up are the books within series, ordered according to Goodreads. Following these are the books that aren't part of a series, and which are in alphabetical order by title.
