Sheepish - Page 4

My humiliation list: books I haven't read, although some I've started or read just sections. I have never read George Eliot, Thomas Hardy, Emile Zola, any of Hemingway's novels. And some authors are geniuses to me (Anne Michaels, Derek Walcott, Joan Didion, Herta Müller, Günter Grass. . .), so why have I only read one or two works from each? I have collected more than half the titles on this list. Now to read them.
