She Finally Read Some Popular Books - Page 2

I tend to gravitate toward meaningful obscure books and the classics. This year I made an effort to incorporate some of the more popular books that come up again and again on list challenges. These are the 100 most popular books I read in 2022, as measured by Goodreads readership. I focused on those areas where I do poorest in list challenges: Sci-Fi, Fantasy, YA lit, Middle Grade literature, books from series, romance, nonfiction, and newer contemporary fiction (basically everything other than classics and translated literature). No, I haven't turned by back on my beloved obscure and outdated books. In fact, the majority of books I read this year were indeed of the obscure nature and didn't make the cut for this list. So, I haven't really sold my soul in an effort to read more widely read books.
