Sequels That Erase or Ignore Previous Continuity

They're not reboots or remakes. They're still connected to the first film, but these movies purposefully ignore other entries in their series. Sometimes they're a sequel to a previous movie but not the latest one, and sometimes they use creative tricks (ie, time travel) to change the series' continuity.
