Sept 2020 TBR by D.K.

Even though a lot of the books I finished in August were started in (gulp) March and April, I felt like my brain was finally starting to recover from life and world events. I could focus for a little longer, anyhow. My best book read was The Autobiography of Malcom X, which reads more like fiction than fact--but if it'd been fiction, I wouldn't have found the tale plausible. An excellent read about an over-the-top character. My most anticipated book is Salt, Fat, Acid, Heat, by Samin Nosrat: a cookbook for those making a transition from "follow the recipe" to "an excellent home cook" or even "an excellent professional cook." I've read part of it and had several "aha" moments already. WAKANDA FOREVER.
