If you grew up in the UK like I did, you probably had at least one disappointing seaside holiday — and if you didn't, just imagine ice-cold water and vicious seagulls and you'll get the picture.
Of course, in a horror movie, your trip to the beach wouldn't just end with a cheeky gull pinching your chips. The British seaside has been the setting for many horror tales, from understated ghost stories to eerie atomic scares.
