Screenrant's 10 War Movies Military Experts Praised for Accuracy & Realism

"Although war movies take most of their elements from real life, not all of them are accurate portrayals of war & the military, but there are many who have been praised by military experts for their accuracy & realism. War movies address delicate topics, & filmmakers are always at risk of controversy due to their portrayals of war, soldiers, & victims. Because of this and more, war movies are subjected to deep analysis by military experts, veterans, & historians, perhaps more than any other genre in the film industry. Bringing war stories to the big screen means that not all stories will be entirely accurate & many elements will be changed or added for narrative and/or dramatic purposes. This means that the accuracy of war movies is immediately put into question, but there's a difference between historical & military accuracy. Here are 10 war movies that were praised by military experts for their accuracy & realism, though not necessarily for their historical accuracy." -screenrant.com
