Rex Harrison Films

Sir Rex Harrison(b. Reginald Carey Harrison on March 5, 1900 & d. June 2, 1990) was a British actor most famous for his role as Professor Henry Higgins in "My Fair Lady", a role which won him both an Oscar & a Golden Globe. Also nominated for both as Julius Caesar in "Cleopatra", as well as for Golden Globes for "Doctor Dolittle" & "The Agony & the Ecstasy". Also won 2 Tony awards for the stage version of "My Fair Lady" & as Henry VIII in "Anee of the 1000 Days".Known as "Sexy Rexy" for his numerous marriages(6!) & countless affairs, he received 2 stars on the Hollywood's Walk of Fame of Fame-1 for film & 1 for TV-& was knighted in 1989. FYI-Stewie Griffith's voice on "The Family Guy" is based on Harrison!
