Required Reading From a Small Colorado School - Page 2

When I was in high school, I had for two years a very controversial teacher. Parents considered her 'unorthodox' in her teaching of language arts- she simply had us read. We had reading homework every night, over all school breaks, and read separate books in class together. She told us all that the more we read, the better off we'd all be in the long run. Most of these I read through her classes. She had a list of approved classics for us to pick from and a list of in class reading.
These books are those books we read. 📚
