Reading Two by Two Throughout the Years

A pair of books for each publishing year running from 2021 to 1922. The first is my favorite read of that year thus far; the second is the book of that year that I'm looking forward to the most. Stopped off at where I did because a. started running out of books and b. nice number is nice.
