The Inklings: Tolkien, Lewis, Sayers, Williams & Friends

C S Lewis, J R R Tolkien, and Dorothy Sayers are the best known of "the Inklings," a circle of Christian authors at Oxford in the 1930's and 40's who shared a love for medieval romance. Here is a list of many of their writings, plus a few books by some 19th C authors who inspired them: George MacDonald, William Morris and G K Chesterton.
