Read in 2022 - Page 7

All the books I read in 2022. I just missed out on getting to 400 (I didn't read for 4 days over Christmas, too busy travelling and cooking!), but I'm still pretty pleased. according to GoodReads I managed a total of 150k pages, for an average of 380 pages per book. I think this will probably stand as my personal best for some time to come, as I don't intend to have quite as much free time in the coming year!
Titles include another batch from Boxall's "1001 books you must read" list, which I'm slowly making my way through, and a wide range of books from many different genres.
Highlights include 'Sherlock Holmes', 'The Buried Giant' and 'Becoming Superman'.
Not a big fan of: 'Lord Jim' (Conrad and I have a complicated relationship), 'The Atlantis Gene' (certainly not ending the year on a high...) and 'Parade's End' (Oh dullest of dull books art thee).
Achievements I'm pleased with: Finishing both 'In Search of Lost Time' and 'Dance to the Music of Time'!
