This list is the results of a post on the r/criterion subreddit which can be found here. Participants were asked to submit a list of their Top 10 movies of all time. Each inclusion on a Top 10 list attributed one point to a film, regardless of its position on the list. Movies are ranked by the amount of points they accumulated. There were a total of 343 lists. Ties are ranked alphabetically, the total is 117 instead of an even 100 because films 99-117 all received 8 points. The amount of points each film received is included in the notes.

2001 was included in 25.1% (86/383) of the submitted lists, far surpassing the second most included film, Stalker, which was included in 12.8% (49/383).
