New iteration of the Rate Your Music's 50 Greatest series! The 2020 editions, though posted mere months ago, mostly used the old chart algorithms.
This edition presents Rate Your Music's top 50 film noir movies. Movies must be feature length and have at least 300 ratings left by the community's users. In this alternate addition, only original film noir, that being movies released in the 1940s and 1950s, is allowed to be included - no later neo-noir or other variants, though foreign noir including French Polar is allowed so long as the title meets other requirements.
The amount of needed ratings has been lowered for this genre due to lack of films meeting the usual requirement of 500 for this series.
