Randy M.'S 1000. Maybe - Page 26

Listing 1,000 books read is a challenge.
Have I even read 1,000 books?
I wasn't sure, so I started pulling together titles I'd either recorded somewhere or could remember from way, way back. To date, I've come up with over 1,050, and I know some are missing -- for instance, I recall reading a couple of mysteries by Robert Bernard, but I've no idea which ones.
Anyway, this list contains titles I read in grade school and college and after; it includes high, middle and low brow, and some few with maybe no brow at all. Most of the books are fiction (s.f., horror, fantasy, mystery/crime, classics), there are novels and story collections/anthologies; and a smattering of non-fiction, poetry, plays (stage & screen), with some novelties that don't really fit any of those categories. Some I've read more than once, and some I wonder why I once read them.
