Portrait of the Reader as a Young Man: Books With a Lasting Impact: Fiction & Poetry - Page 3

Our maverick English Teacher and immanent septuagenarian finds himself in a reflective mood and looks back at how he became the book nerd he now is. He has come up with books that had a marked influence on him some where between the ages of 5 and 21. He could have kept going, but he wanted to keep the list manageable so that people would actually finish it. As an added bonus, he has endeavored to picture the edition he actually read way back when, so that even if one has never heard of the books, one still has some wonderful vintage covers to look at.
