PHILADELPHIA PHILLIES WALL OF FAME

Honoring Alumni of both the Phillies and the Philadelphia Athletics began in Veterans Stadium in a 200-level display originally called the Philadelphia Baseball Hall of Fame. The current display which honors Phillies only is located in Ashburn Alley at Citizens Bank Park. Upon moving to Citizen's Bank Park in 2004 no more Philadelphia A's were selected. The Philadelphia Athletics are now honored on a statue of Connie Mack located outside of Citizens Bank Park. For the purposes of this list I only chose to list Phillies players only. According to the Phillies Media Guide Phillies execuitives, players, managers, and coaches with four or more years are eligible. With rare exception all candidates must be retired for three years before they become eligible for the ballot. Consideration is given to longevity, ability, character, and contributions to the Phillies and baseball, plus special achievements. Generally one Phillie is chosen per years with the exception of 1983 and 2017.
