Dr Peter Kreeft is a philosophy professor at Boston College. In one of his lectures, he provides a list of 26 books that everyone should read before dying. He also provides an additional 15 recommendations to those books.
Note: this is the list as taken from Brandon Vogt's website. In the lecture, one of Dr Kreeft's additional recommendations for history is "something by Christopher Dawson"; Vogt recommends "The Formation of Christendom" and "The Dividing of Christendom".
