Painting With Light, John Alton and Film Noir

Growing up in Bolivia little did I know he made also history in South America, in the country next door: Argentina, making him part of Latin American cinema as well.
Film noir is a genre where knowing the name of the cinematographer is just as important as knowing the name of the Director, sometimes more so.
John Alton's work was always impecable and you get to appreciate it in these films, amazing work he collaborated on during the 40's and 50's before leaving Hollywood for good in the 60's, enjoy.
