Oh Là Là ! Goodreads Best French Literature

"Best books written by French Authors" (Goodreads). An updated and much longer version (x4) of the list originally published in 2014 by Leigh Ann Zerr. Titles in English as far as possible, hopefully all authors' names with correct French spelling (please point out errors).
Note: Some duplicates were eliminated; some books were subdivided into their constituent works. In the near future I will publish a further challenge encompassing more works originally written in French, but mainly published in recent decades.
