It's real easy to claim to be a "nerd" now that geek culture has become mainstream and comic book movies dominate the box office... but how many of you TRUE BELIEVERS actually are O.G.s (Original Geeks) from way back??? Back when I was growing up if you wanted sci fi, superhero, or fantasy movies you didnt always have flashy CGI and big box office stars begging to play leading roles. Sometimes you had to sit thru some questionable stuff that was hit or miss in quality. But you did it, because where else were you going to get a Captain America movie then???? So what if he's wearing a motorcycle helmet?
So for that purpose I excluded most of the big mainstream blockbusters that should be a given in ANY nerd worth his salt's viewing history and made this list more of an obscure, or classic checklist (if you were too young you should do your homework... i wasnt born in the 50s but i watched the original Day the Earth Stood Still... cause im THAT nerdy).
I am sure i forgot plenty...
