Notable Novels From the 21st Century

These are all novels written in this century that I would consider especially notable, either because I personally think they hold great literary value, because other people seem to, or a combination of both. I wanted to focus on novels, so I haven't included poetry or nonfiction. It's not necessarily a list of books I have loved (although very many I did), some I haven't even read and included in the list regardless as they seem to have left a big impact, this is just meant to be a selection of books that I'd consider important works of our time. I limited myself to one book per author, so I'm sure there are compelling arguments as to why I should have chosen a different novel by some of them. I'm sure there are many more books I could have included, but here is my highly subjective take on notable novels from the 21st century. Please do vote up or down as you see fit, I'd love to see if people agree with me.
