No, but I Read the Movie: Novelizations of Films and TV Series

I'd call novelization a "lost art," but I'm not sure it was ever much of an art, more like the literary equivalent of a happy-meal toy. But they were fun reading for obsessives and a solace to 70's pre-teens who couldn't get into R-rated movies. If you loved "Grease" so much that you wondered what it would be like without songs and in print. well, there were plenty of journeyman novelists out there willing to make your dreams come true (where have you gone, Alan Dean Foster?).
