Aside from one documentary, all feature films premiered in 2008 (not necessarily reached audiences in 2008) and currently have more than 1,000 votes and scores higher than 7.0 on IMDB could be eligible. Countries constantly accused of suspicious votes are disqualified. Namely Turkey and the entirety of South Asia.
Sorted by IMDB scores from best to worst. For films with the same score, they're sorted in alphabetical order.
Also, the final 20 picks are films with scores lower than 7.0 but popular enough to be the most voted films of the pack.
