Movies J Thinks People Should Watch

I have had a running list on IMDB for years of films and TV series that I think people should watch so when I saw other people sharing their lists I thought it would be fun. These are just in the order that I watched them. I have a bachelor's degree in film so a lot of these I watched for classes. There are little mini-trends like Spanish-speaking films and Asian horror from the turn of the century. Most of these I think are genuinely important pieces of cinema, others I think are just fun like Tucker and Dale vs Evil. Not that fun movies shouldn't be considered important. There is a lot of horror films here, it's my favorite genre and I think some very interesting commentary can be made in a good horror film.
