We have this strange obsession with toys, dolls, cars, rings, rugs, trees, and kitchen appliances coming to life? Why is that?
This list only includes objects typically considered innocuous that are brought to life by magic or unknown forces, so no robots or AI-controlled houses.
Also, I'm including trees, plants, and fruit, which are typically considered "alive" but would still be classified as "inanimate."
